The Standard for Reliable Legal Videography in Hawaii
Operational Expertise & Technical Redundancy
A Foundation of Expertise
We built our technical foundation executing complex depositions across California's most demanding legal markets. Today, that wealth of hands-on experience drives our operations in Hawaii. We operate strictly on documented protocols designed to protect your evidentiary record, ensuring we never lose a single minute of testimony.
The E01 Forensic Advantage
While standard videographers treat your deposition like a simple video file, we treat it as forensic evidence. We are one of the only firms in the industry to utilize E01 forensic imaging immediately following the proceeding. This preserves the exact, unaltered state of the master media before any post-processing begins.
Absolute Neutrality
Akamai Legal Video operates strictly as a neutral third party. We go on the record at the request of any attorney present, and only cease recording upon explicit mutual agreement. We actively monitor the room and interrupt only when absolutely necessary to protect the record from acoustical or technical failure.
Uncompromising Redundancy
A reliable visual record demands rigorous fail-safes. Videographers arrive a full hour early to manually calibrate camera focus, iris, gain, and shutter speed for the unique environment using strictly fluid head tripods. We mandate a minimum of four microphones running on independent mixer channels, and the official record is continuously backed up to separate recording devices.
Protecting the Verbatim Record
We view the court reporter as a critical partner. Our setup is clean, respectful, and highly collaborative. We perform strict pre-deposition tests of the audio feeds running directly into the reporter's laptop to ensure the clearest possible signal from the start. To further protect the record, we also provide a high-fidelity backup audio file at the end of the day to ensure absolute precision in the certified transcript.
