Local Deposition Support Across West Hawaii
Akamai Legal Video is based in South Kona, so West Hawaii depositions never depend on an inter-island flight or carry travel fees. Downtown Kailua-Kona is about an hour's drive for us, and Waikoloa and the Kohala Coast resorts about 90 minutes. We know the local venues, from the conference rooms at Suite Possibilities to resort meeting spaces up the coast, and we plan load-in and setup around them.
Hybrid Depositions in Large Rooms
Big Island court reporters are few, so we coordinate closely with whoever you book and offer a direct audio feed from our mixer. Resort conference rooms are large and echo-prone, which is exactly where laptop speakers fail remote participants. We bring a dedicated laptop and Jabra speakerphone for the remote side and multi-channel lavalier microphones for everyone in the room.
Chain of Custody
We don't hand over physical media on-site. The master recording cards are forensically imaged in E01 format, and every video file is SHA-256 hashed, so the integrity of the record can be independently verified. A digitally signed hash report is available with our authentication package. Final files are delivered by encrypted cloud transfer.
