Rates and minimums

Depositions bill hourly in quarter-hour increments, with a four-hour minimum. Setup bills from one hour before the scheduled start, whenever the record actually opens, and billing ends 30 minutes after you go off the record. Lunch isn't billed. Several witnesses in the same room on the same day share one setup.

Time and a half applies after 8 hours, from 6 to 8 AM, and from 5 to 7 PM. Double time applies after 10 hours, before 6 AM, after 7 PM, and all day on weekends. We don't bill travel time. Neighbor-island airfare, parking, and ground transport pass through at cost, plus a per diem. When a morning start needs a night-before flight, the booking firm pays for lodging.

Standard video delivery is 3 to 5 business days. Anything faster, or a date you set, is billed as rush. Media Preservation, the same-day imaging and hashing, is a flat line item on every in-person job. Sync, summaries, and editing are billed separately. Check the rate-sheet box on the form and we'll email the current rate sheet.

Need a W-9? You'll have it the same day. Invoices go out after the job through Square. We accept check or ACH, and Hawaiʻi GET is added.
