A 200-page transcript takes a competent paralegal six to eight hours to read, analyze, and summarize. That's most of a day off your case, on work that can be done in a fraction of it.
Why we process it here
Your transcript is privileged, and it's the client's, not ours. Summaries run on hardware we own in Hawaiʻi, on models we control. Nothing is sent to an outside AI provider or used to train anything. Files arrive by email or a secure upload link, and summaries go back on a password-protected link. If your firm has an AI policy, How your files are handled is written for whoever reviews it.
What lands on your desk
A clean PDF, organized by topic and timeline, with every point cited to its page and line so you can jump straight to the transcript. Standard turnaround is two business days. Rush is available. Andrew reviews every summary before it goes out.
Pricing
$1 per transcript page, 150-page minimum. Twenty-four hour rush available for an additional $100. No subscription, no platform fee, no per-user seat. Your first summary is free for new firms, up to 300 pages. One per firm.
Any transcript, any source
You don't have to have shot the deposition with us, and we don't need the video. Send the transcript to summaries@akamailegalvideo.com, or ask for a secure upload link if the file is over 50 MB. ASCII, PDF, and Word are all accepted.
What this is not
A summary is a factual overview of what a witness said. It is not legal analysis or advice. It is not a substitute for reading the transcript, and it does not predict how any testimony will land at trial. The firm remains responsible for reviewing the summary before relying on it.
