Bishop Street and downtown Honolulu
Most of our Oʻahu work is on Bishop Street and around downtown. Before Hawaiʻi, Andrew Graves recorded about 2,000 depositions in the Bay Area and Sacramento, including IP, asbestos, and employment matters. On Oʻahu, we've recorded depositions in the Red Hill and Maui fire litigation.
Getting there
For a 9:00 or 10:00 AM start, we take the 6:00 AM out of Kona and a rideshare downtown, so there's no parking to find. Airfare and ground transport pass through at cost, plus a per diem, and day trips carry no hotel. We don't bill travel time, and we handle our own logistics. We don't use Oʻahu subcontractors: the videographer you book is the one who shows up.
Audio and your reporter
Downtown means sirens and traffic noise, and no microphone removes them after the fact, so mic placement and audio distribution matter. We run our own equipment, sending direct camera video into Zoom and routing clean audio through Jabra systems for hybrid participants. On every job we offer the court reporter a dedicated headphone feed, so the transcript can be as accurate as the video.
